Chuseok and Ko-Yon Rivalry Match

The past two weeks flew by quickly as everyone celebrated Chuseok, one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea. Chuseok means Autumn Eve and it is also known as Korean Thanksgiving, the time of the year for people to go back to their hometown and visit their family, to honour the ancestors and have feasts together.

For me, I spent my Chuseok going to Lotte World, COEX, Everland and Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Ko-Yon Rivalry Match is an annual sport event between Korea and Yonsei universities, consisting with baseball, basketball, rugby, soccer and ice hockey. For this year, the match was on the 6th and 7th of October. Baseball and Soccer were the only two games for free admission. Overall, it was a great experience to be surrounded with so much of sport spirit. We even had a cheering practice a month before, to get everyone hyped up for the event.
